The Key Safe Company support South Devon community initiative to ensure reliable transport is accessible for rural residents, with the use of their police preferred key safes.
Bob the Bus, officially called Totnes and Rural Community Transport, is a familiar sight in the area, with its distinctive yellow vehicles providing reliable transport for rural residents. The charity operates a fleet of five buses, all serving local routes to ensure no one in the community is left isolated. Crucially, these vehicles are adapted to support passengers who require assistance, including those using mobility equipment, making the service inclusive and accessible to all.
With a mission to bridge transport gaps in rural areas, Bob the Bus is constantly improving its services. Already utilising the Supra C500 Pro key safe system to provide drivers with secure, remote vehicle access, the charity recently added a new flagship vehicle to its fleet. As a result, they needed another key safe to ensure smooth operations.
This is where The Key Safe Company stepped in. With nearly three decades of experience specialising in police preferred products, The Key Safe Company were delighted to donate their latest model, the ark Tamo Police Preferred keysafe, to support Bob the Bus’ growing fleet.
At a special presentation, Steve Grove, Chairman of Totnes and Rural Community Transport, was handed the ark Tamo key safe by Marcus Taylor, Managing Director of The Key Safe Company.
This partnership is a heartening example of how local organisations can come together to make a difference. Bob the Bus remains an essential service in South Devon, ensuring rural residents have access to transport, while The Key Safe Company’s contribution helps keep this service running securely and efficiently.
Through this ongoing collaboration, both Bob the Bus and The Key Safe Company are playing a vital role in keeping the South Devon community connected and thriving.
