The Key Safe Company has become the first key safe supplier to have attained the TEC Quality Standards certification.
Developed specifically for the Technology Enabled Care industry by the TSA, TEC Services Association, the TEC Quality Standards Framework (QSF) is an independent audit and certification programme aimed to assist organisations to continuously improve their service quality.
To pass the audit, The Key Safe Company had to demonstrate that the QSF requirements were met and fully integrated into the company’s working practices and processes. The business has achieved maximum compliance in the 10 common standards, which form the foundation to excellence in the TEC sector.
The Common Standard core modules are: User & Service Experience, User Safety, Effectiveness of Service, Information Governance, Partnership Working & Integrated Services, Workforce, Business Continuity, Ethics, Performance & Contract Management and Continuous Improvement & Innovation.
In addition, The Key Safe Company also achieved compliance in the Supply Sector/Solutions Provider service delivery module.
As a TSA founder member, the QSF award marks a continuation in ‘industry-firsts’ for The Key Safe Company. Europe’s first ISO approved company to sell key safes, the organisation worked closely with the world’s leading building science centres to help regulate the industry and to develop the Police Accredited Standard. The company went on to design the first two key safes to attain the LPCB LPS1175 and SBD accolades. The company’s two flagship products – Supra C500 Pro and Supra P500 Pro went on to be the first mechanical key safes to attain the LPS1175 Issue 8 A5 certification. Through close partnerships with the telecare world, The Key Safe Company also led the way in promoting the first end-to-end telecare solution.
Commenting on the company’s achievement, David Ogden, CEO at The Key Safe Company, said: “Providing the best possible products and services is engrained in our DNA and certification from QSF means a lot to the entire team. The principles of the QSF align perfectly with our vision and purpose to enable better lives and deliver reliable and useful products and services that contribute to society while acting lawfully, ethically and with integrity. The certification is not just testament to our ability to deliver excellence which our customers have come to expect of us. It’s also the assurance to our business partners and our often-vulnerable end users that they are centre-stage in everything that we do.”
