Worcestershire could soon be the home to a World Champion Motorcycle Racer thanks to a generous donation from local firm The Key Safe Company.
Henry Yardley, 18, who is set to compete in the off-road motorcycle world championships this year, has been gifted the £1,000 donation to help him towards achieving his life-long goal.
Henry, who has been riding motorbikes since the age of four, will be taking part in a variety of competitions throughout 2019, including the British Enduro Championships and The Enduro World Championships in Germany.
The donation will help Henry throughout his 2019 season, allowing him to upgrade his bike to ensure it is up to competition standard. This will include replacing the suspension on his bike, which is vital in allowing him to ensure his lap times are competitive.
Henry commented: “I would like to thank The Key Safe Company for its generous donation. It will greatly benefit my 2019 season and will make a huge difference in helping me to achieve my goal of becoming a World Champion Motorcycle Racer.”
David Ogden, Managing Director of The Key Safe Company, commented: “We are thrilled to be able to support Henry and give back to members of the local community. It is clear that Henry is both determined and dedicated to achieving his championship status and we wish him the very best of luck for his 2019 season. “
